Actually, I gave it some thought.
Imagine 4 SKU's....Simply a premium and core with a HD-DVD add on. And keep the regular premium and core. Now that would confuse some customers, but it'd work good if it brought the add on price down a bit.

too expensive, that's unfortunate but it's a harsh reality for third party developers. The ps3 is just not built like a gaming machine.

Prey will still be a great port like oblivion, and even though on the PC it was better, us with 360's still loved it.
Wow this rumor is pathetic. An HD-dvd add on would cost 150 or 200 atleast. Putting a premium up to 500....which is exactly what MS doesn't want this christmas.

haha, that's the worst comment I've read all day. Actually from all Nintendo's specs it looks like a xbox 1.3. Plus the execs say you'll notice a small difference if all the consoles will be on a non-HD television. Meaning it's definately inferior power.

I bet you guys 10 bucks this will be a 360 port. It would only help the console that MS owns along with the PC's. Why would they keep something so sacred and important to themselves when it's the same company.
only a statement like this, saying it'll be no more than 100 bucks indicates a price hike from developers. Whether it'll be 70 or 80. My estimates would say the games will be between 60-80. And special edition ones would be 10 bucks more as usual.
BR is expensive and developers have to have some way to make money. Whether it's charging online which will happen or price hiking abover 60.
get the 360 version, PC keyboard and mouse blows for immersiveness.
